Milton Keynes Summer of Culture

Celebrating the major events and organisations that are unique to Milton Keynes, this exhibition will look at the fascinating stories of past heritage, arts, sports and our wider culture as we move through the summer culminating in London 2012. Featuring archive images from collections at Living Archive, Milton Keynes City Discovery Centre, Milton Keynes Council and Milton Keynes Heritage Association, it brings to life cultural activities in and around Milton Keynes over the last 100 years. From Art to Archaeology, Festivals and Carnivals, Royal Visits, Sport and Leisure, this exhibition will have something for everyone.

But we need your help too! Help us build this exhibition over the summer to create a record of all the events that are happening for 2012 during the Summer of Culture in Milton Keynes. Will you attend the MK Games? Milton Keynes International Festival? The Torch Relay? MK Dance Festival? Just a few of the events happening this summer.
