Building Conservation and Archaeology in Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes borough has a rich and varied heritage of archaeological sites, landscapes and historic buildings. Recent years have also seen a growing appreciation of the unique heritage of the New Town, a fact underlined nationally by the listing of a number of New Town structures, the Central Library and Shopping Centre included. The Council’s Conservation and Archaeology Team play a key role in ensuring the sustainable management and appreciation of this finite resource. This new exhibition seeks to highlight the work of the team, focusing on some key current projects and recent archaeological discoveries.
Exhibition runs from 1 February – 6 April 2017 |
